The 086219B front suspension bush kit is a more civil, street-oriented version of the Strongflex front kit for the Honda Civic VIII. It is intended for drivers who want to improve handling precision and stability, while keeping a higher level of ride comfort than with the fully stiff SPORT kit 086219A.

By using a combination of SPORT front wishbone front bushes (081800A) and softer rear wishbone and anti-roll bar bushes (081801B / 081802B), this kit offers a very good compromise between daily usability, dynamic driving on the road and occasional track use.

The front-position bushes (081800A) keep the steering feel direct and precise. The 081801B and 081802B bushes are softer than their SPORT counterparts, which reduces vibration and noise transmitted into the cabin compared with the 086219A kit.

The kit fits the front axle of all the above models (including FN2 Type R). Before ordering, always check the diameter of the front anti-roll bar and select the correct size in the product options.

When to choose the 086219B kit?

• If the car is used mainly on public roads and as a daily driver.
• If you want better geometry control and steering response than with OEM rubber bushes, but do not want the maximum stiffness of the 086219A SPORT kit.
• If you are looking for a setup suitable for everyday driving with dynamic use, occasional spirited runs or track days.

For cars built primarily for track use, time-attack or very hard driving, where comfort is not a priority, the stiffer 086219A SPORT kit will be more appropriate.

FAQ – 086219B front suspension bush kit

Does the 086219B kit stiffen the car as much as the 086219A SPORT kit?
No. 086219B uses softer rear wishbone and anti-roll bar bushes than the SPORT version. The chassis is clearly tighter and more precise than with OEM rubber, but the overall stiffness and NVH are lower than with 086219A.

Is ride comfort still acceptable for everyday use?
Yes. The 086219B kit was designed as a street-oriented solution. Expect firmer, more connected handling than stock, but without the harshness typical of full hard motorsport setups.

Can I combine individual bushes from 086219A and 086219B?
Technically it is possible, but we recommend using a complete, matched kit on the front axle. Mixing different hardness levels may lead to uneven behaviour of the suspension and unpredictable handling.

Is wheel alignment required after installation?
Yes. After replacing the front suspension bushes, a professional wheel alignment is strongly recommended to fully benefit from the improved geometry stability and to ensure even tyre wear.
