Upper Control Arm Ball Joint Honda Prelude 4/5 – 33.4 mm (prel33-5)

Press-in upper control arm ball joint with a 33.4 mm housing diameter, designed for specific front and rear suspension configurations of the Honda Prelude 4th and 5th generation. Honda never supplied this joint separately – it was only available as part of a complete control arm. Aftermarket replacements allow cost-effective repair without the need to replace the entire arm.

Application and fitment

Fits control arms with a 33.4 mm ball joint housing in the following Prelude configurations:

  • Honda Prelude 4 (1992–1996) – pre-facelift:
    fits the front upper control arm.

FAQ – ball joint prel33-5 for Honda Prelude

Does it fit my control arm?
It fits front pre-facelift 4G arms and all rear arms in both 4G and 5G. It does not fit front facelift 4G arms with OEM numbers ending in 003.

Can I replace just the ball joint?
Yes. Although Honda sold only complete control arms, this press-in joint allows cost-effective repair.

Is installation difficult?
Press-in joint – installation requires a press or proper tool. Hammer installation is not recommended.
